Kiefer Sutherland plays Jack Bauer, a federal agent (counter-terrorist unit: CTU) who scowls a lot while trying to arrest the people who assassinated a former President. Kiefer Sutherland plays David Breckinridge, a federal agent (Secret Service) who scowls a lot while trying to stop a plot to assassinate the president.
Jack Bauer stops terrorists in CA (Los Angeles, California). David Breckinridge stops terrorists in CA (Toronto, Canada).
Jack Bauer, former federal fugitive, is guaranteed to say “Dammit!” multiple times per episode. This is a drinking game that Kiefer Sutherland apparently knows about. David Breckinridge doesn’t say bad words. This movie is rated PG-13, and he’s a Secret Service agent wearing a suit and tie. Kids going to PG-13 movies aren’t allowed to drink.
Jack Bauer has shot a co-worker in the head for the sake of pursuing the bigger-fish terrorists. David Breckinridge shoots his former instructor and friend in the back while in hot pursuit.
